Tiffani McCoy is a seasoned technology and regulatory lawyer with more than 20 years of experience advising high-growth companies—from early-stage innovators to global technology platforms—on complex legal and business challenges in rapidly evolving markets. In addition to her deep roots in technology, she has experience supporting clients in other industries, including beauty/skincare and real estate property management, bringing a practical, cross-industry perspective to her work. She brings a practical, in-house perspective shaped by senior legal roles at some of the world’s most recognized technology companies, combined with deep experience guiding emerging businesses through growth, scale, and regulatory change.
Tiffani’s practice focuses on advising companies operating at the intersection of technology, finance, and regulation, while also supporting clients in adjacent sectors with similar regulatory and operational complexity. She counsels clients on product development, commercial strategy, and regulatory compliance across a range of areas, including fintech and money movement, blockchain and digital assets, data use and privacy, consumer protection, and marketing. Her work is grounded in helping business teams move quickly and confidently while managing legal and reputational risk.
Before joining PLG, Tiffani was a partner at OGC. She previously served as General Counsel of HBUS, the U.S. operator of a global digital asset platform and held senior in-house roles at Intuit, Google, and Yahoo!, where she advised on complex commercial transactions, product launches, and regulatory matters at scale. She earned her J.D. from University of Southern California Gould School of Law, M.A. from the University of Oklahoma, and her B.S. from Ithaca College.
