PLG is pleased to announce that Kevin Angle has joined the firm as a partner in its Privacy and Cybersecurity practice in Boston, Massachusetts.

Kevin advises companies on privacy, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data governance matters across complex regulatory and operational environments. He works with clients ranging from technology and telecommunications companies to healthcare, life sciences, and other highly regulated businesses, helping them navigate evolving data protection requirements while supporting broader commercial and strategic objectives.

Kevin counsels clients on a wide range of U.S. and international privacy laws and emerging technology regulations, including state consumer privacy statutes, biometric privacy laws, electronic communications laws, and developing AI governance frameworks. His practice spans the full lifecycle of data-related risk management, including the design and implementation of privacy and AI governance programs, cybersecurity preparedness and incident response, regulatory counseling, consumer rights compliance, and data protection strategy for complex commercial relationships and corporate transactions.

In addition to advising on compliance and governance matters, Kevin regularly structures and negotiates technology, data-sharing, and other commercial agreements involving sensitive business and consumer information. He also advises clients on privacy and cybersecurity considerations in mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions, including diligence, contractual risk allocation, and post-closing integration issues.

Kevin brings a practical, business-oriented perspective to his counseling, informed by his prior litigation experience and deep understanding of how data-related issues intersect with operational, reputational, and enterprise risk. He is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP). He is an active leader in the privacy and cybersecurity community and serves as Co-Chair of the Privacy, Cybersecurity & Digital Law Section of the Boston Bar Association as well as the International Association of Privacy Professional’s (IAPP’s) Boston KnowledgeNet.

Prior to joining PLG, Kevin practiced at Holland & Knight and Ropes & Gray. Kevin received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a James Kent scholar and a Senior Editor of the Columbia Law Review, and his A.B. in Government from Harvard University.
