Patricia Medina is a partner in the firm’s Litigation, Employment, and Investigation & White Collar Defense practice groups. She represents companies and individuals in high stakes litigation and government investigations, with a focus on protecting her clients’ interests in matters involving fraud, breach of contract, corporate governance, breach of fiduciary duty, securities fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, unfair competition, employment law, and real estate. Because of her depth of experience in business litigation, Patricia often works with transactional attorneys to assess litigation risk and address pre-litigation disputes.

Patricia has tried cases in state and federal court and in arbitration. She is known for her ability to quickly distill complex legal and factual issues, build effective litigation teams, and align legal strategy with a client’s goals. Her clients have included Fortune 500 companies, closely held businesses, and individuals across industries including financial services, private equity, wine, manufacturing, and technology.

Before joining PLG, Patricia held senior litigation roles at leading California firms. She is active in the legal community, with a particular interest in mentoring Latino law students, and has served on Bar Association and non-profit boards. She also brings her mediation training to her role as a volunteer discovery facilitator and settlement conference neutral, helping parties resolve disputes efficiently.

Patricia's services are offered to clients through Potomac Law LLP, an affiliate of Potomac Law Group PLLC.
