Eileen Rice is a Consulting Counsel in the Employment & Labor, Administrative Law (Pharmacy), and Litigation practice groups. For over two decades, Ms. Rice has represented corporations, small businesses, and pharmacies in the areas of employment, general commercial matters and pharmacy law. Ms. Rice enjoys working closely with employers to develop policies and procedures that are legally compliant and support their business objectives, including employee handbooks and agreements. As an attorney investigator, Ms. Rice conducts independent workplace investigations into employee complaints of harassment, discrimination, and company policy violations.

Ms. Rice also advises yoga and wellness studios and independent fitness instructors on strategic legal issues, such as negotiating contracts, evaluating employment and human resources concerns, forming business entities, and online video production.

Ms. Rice is a seasoned appellate attorney, having advocated for clients in the First, Second and Sixth District Courts of Appeal and before the California Supreme Court.

  • Advise and represent management in labor and employment matters before California State courts, Federal Courts, arbitrators, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
  • Represent and advise national pharmacy chains, pharmacists, and compounding pharmacies in court and before the Board of Pharmacy in all aspects of pharmacy law and professional liability matters, including compliance with state and federal regulations.
