Potomac Law’s Ed Wender Honored with Pro Bono Award by The Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service

Potomac Law is pleased to announce that Partner Ed Wender was honored at the 2023 Celebrate Pro Bono Awards ceremony hosted by the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service (MVLS) in mid-October. He was among several individuals recognized for demonstrating an exceptional commitment to pro bono and to the Maryland legal community.

Wender received the Special Recognition Award for his work in assisting with pro bono estate planning and administration cases.

“In the past year alone, Ed has accepted an outstanding 25 of these cases – and he consistently reaches out to do more. For clients, resolving estate planning and administration issues often is the key to housing and financial stability for themselves and for their families,” according to The Daily Record.

Maryland Attorney General Anthony Brown was on hand to congratulate the winners, which included 12 attorneys and tax professionals and a community partner whose commitment to low-income Marylanders has made a significant impact this past year.

The event drew more than 200 guests, which included attorneys, judges, financial professionals, community leaders and friends.
