Matthew Beal

Matthew Beal is a Partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property practice. A registered patent attorney, Mr. Beal counsels clients on patent strategies and prepares and prosecutes both U.S. and international patent applications in a wide range of areas, including healthcare, medical technology, software, electronics, aerospace systems, internet applications, text and video analytics and telecommunications.

Prior to joining Potomac Law, he was an attorney at Nelson Mullins. While at GE Healthcare, he was lead patent counsel and developed patent portfolio management strategies across multiple jurisdictions, including the U.S., China, Japan, India, and Europe.
