Mr. Allbee serves as Co-Chair of the Patent Group in the Intellectual Property Practice and Chair of the AI practice group, where he was recognized by Best Lawyers in America® in their inaugural AI Law ranking.  As a trusted legal advisor, Mr. Allbee helps strategically scale the global patent portfolio for pioneering software companies, securing critical protections in augmented reality and AI technologies.  He also advises one of the nation’s largest financial institutions, safeguarding proprietary AI-driven risk evaluation and fintech systems. 

Mr. Allbee’s experience includes strategic business positioning and targeted patent prosecution to maximize protection, target competitors, and provide litigation readiness. Mr. Allbee has experience developing portfolios in computing technologies including Augmented and Virtual Reality, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic Systems, Edge Computing, Network Security, Financial Technologies, Internet of Things (IoT), and Databases. 

Mr. Allbee previously served as in-house patent counsel at Dropbox and as secondee in-house patent counsel at Meta. Mr. Allbee also worked as a software engineer at PINT Inc., a software company where he led a team developing client-side, server-side, and database applications.
