We are pleased to announce that Pamela M. Egan has joined us as a Partner in our Restructuring and Bankruptcy, Litigation and Corporate practice groups.
Pamela Egan is a bankruptcy attorney with twenty years of experience leveraging the problem-solving powers of the bankruptcy court for her clients. High-level litigation skills complement Ms. Egan's creativity and tenacity. Along with her colleagues, she handles all aspects of bankruptcy, including commencing and managing a bankruptcy case, negotiating DIP financing, selling and purchasing assets in and out of bankruptcy, claims resolution, and avoidance actions.

Ms. Egan represents debtors, trustees, lenders, creditors, and litigants.  In Empyrean Towers, representing the creditors' committee, Ms. Egan used the bankruptcy powers to help convert an uninhabitable slum in downtown Oakland, California, into affordable housing.  Representing the debtor in XS Ranch Fund, she cleared the company's balance sheet of $30 million in secured debt via mandatory subordination which led to payment in full of all creditors.  In Giga Watt, representing the Trustee, Ms. Egan and the Trustee re-opened business cryptocurrency operations that were defunct when the Trustee was appointed.

Prior to joining Potomac Law, Ms. Egan was an attorney with Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones LLP.  She received her B.A. from Dartmouth College and earned her J.D. from Cornell University Law School.
