Potomac Law Welcomes Jessica Madon

We are pleased to announce that Jessica Madon has joined us as a Counsel in our Government Contracts  group.

 Jessica Madon is a skilled business Counsel and experienced trusted advisor practicing in our Government Contracts, International and Technology and IP Transactions groups.  Results driven, she provides legal/risk management advice and tools that enable her clients to further their business goals and meet their mission.  Ms. Madon is a trained U.S. federal government contracts attorney with deep expertise in international public procurement and commercial transactions. She also has significant experience in compliance, corporate investigations, and risk management.   

Just prior to joining PLG, Ms. Madon was an Associate General Counsel at Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. for eight years.  During her tenure there she provided legal, business and strategic advice on all aspects of U.S. government contracting including bid protests, organizational conflict of interest, ethics, claims, appeals, cost and allowability issues, procurement integrity, false claims and terminations.  Ms. Madon also implemented and managed an FCPA/anti-corruption compliance program, which included a third-party due diligence program along with company-wide trainings and policies.  In addition, she advised on intellectual property rights and compliance with laws & regulations related to commercial, U.S. federal and non-U.S. public contracts. Earlier in her career, she was with the law firms of Sheppard Mullin and Holland & Knight. 

Ms. Madon earned her J.D. from the George Washington School of Law. She received her M.I.A. from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and earned her B.A. from Boston College.
