We are pleased to announce that Ken Fagin has joined us as a Counsel in our Patent Practice.

For over 25 years, Mr. Fagin has worked with a vast array of mechanical, electromechanical, electrical engineering, and various other technologies. He has served as one of a select few remaining U.S. counsel handling prosecution on behalf of a major Japanese gaming machine manufacturer, having consolidated prosecution previously handled by multiple firms/practitioners. He has developed the entire patent portfolios for a number of burgeoning companies, including a company focused on desalination and other alternate sources of drinking water. Mr. Fagin has also prepared a number of foundational patents for a sports technology start-up company directed to wireless devices and networked computer systems for automatically tracking and displaying in real time the movements and locations of players and objects such as basketballs during games of sport, as well as made and missed shots on goal. Prior to law school, Mr. Fagin worked as an engineer at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company.

As a registered patent attorney, it is Mr. Fagin's goal to serve his clients in protecting what their companies have worked so hard to develop. In serving his clients, Mr. Fagin brings to bear a solid blend of deep technical understanding, tenacious advocacy, and joy taken in clear writing. He also prides himself on working to secure allowance at the examiner level with a minimum number of resubmissions (RCEs) and without resort to the appeals process if at all possible.

Mr. Fagin received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from MIT in 1987, and his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 1992.
