FCC Policy

The next FCC Open Meeting will be held August 5, 2021. The Tentative Agenda contains six items, including a Report and Order establishing a review process for STIR/SHAKEN enforcement and a Public Notice creating two Innovation Zones for Program Experimental Licenses under Part 5 of the FCC Rules. Legislative Affairs

The House Commerce Subcommittee on Oversight will hold a hearing tomorrow, July 20, 2021, at 10:30am ET titled “Stopping Digital Thieves: the Growing Threat of Ransomware.” Scheduled witnesses include Kemba Walden, Assistant General Counsel of Microsoft, and Philip Reiner, CEO of the Institute for Security and Technology.
