Potomac Law Welcomes Paul Vanwagenen

We are pleased to announce that Paul VanWagenen has joined the firm as a Partner in our Real Estate and Finance Practice.

Mr. VanWagenen has a broad transactional practice and works with clients through all facets of developing their projects from site concept through closing and operations. He is experienced in title review, due diligence, and negotiation of purchase agreements and other site control documents. Mr. VanWagenen represents borrowers and lenders on a range of commercial financings. For many years, he has worked with developers, investors, and lenders to develop sustainable energy projects, including due diligence, ground leases, project documents, and financing.

Mr. VanWagenen received his J.D. from Georgetown University and A.B. from Harvard University. Prior to joining the Charleston, SC office of Potomac Law, Mr. VanWagenen was a Partner at Parker Poe Adams & Bernstein LLP and an Associate at Clifford Chance.
