As our Government Contracts practice continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced Government Contracts Lawyer to join our team on a flexible, fully remote basis. 

This role is ideal for a partner who advises government contractors and commercial companies navigating the federal procurement landscape—from compliance and transactional matters to bid protests and strategic growth initiatives. 

Qualifications 

  • Significant experience advising on federal, state, or local government contracting matters  
  • Experience with government contracts compliance, including FAR/DFARS, ethics, disclosure obligations, and organizational conflicts of interest  
  • Experience handling or advising on bid protests, contract disputes, claims, or investigations  
  • Experience drafting and negotiating government contracts, subcontracts, teaming agreements, joint ventures, and related transactional documents  
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as the False Claims Act, Procurement Integrity Act, and small business programs (e.g., SBA 8(a))  
  • Strong business judgment and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical guidance  
  • A portable book of business  
  • Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction  
  • J.D. from a top-tier law school  
  • 7+ years of legal experience, including time at an AmLaw 100 firm  
  • In-house experience with a government contractor is a plus
