Jamie Miller is a Paralegal in the Bank Finance and the Corporate groups.  Ms. Miller assists our lawyers in the many phases of lending transactions.  She reviews and organizes due diligence materials, drafts loan documents and financing statements, summarizes prefunding searches, reviews and comments on title insurance commitments and property surveys, reviews and comments on lease agreements, manages closing checklists, and coordinates closing and funding.

Ms. Miller also assists our lawyers in general corporate and business matters.  She works on matters involving entity formation through dissolution, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence organization and review, and corporate compliance and governance matters.

Ms. Miller has prior experience working as a real estate and corporate paralegal in national and regional law firms in addition to experience managing and operating title companies.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

  • Assisted bond counsel and conducted the bond closing in an ACG Maryland Deal of the Year Nominee in the Technology/Biotechnology category.
  • Successfully closed a $105MM real property refinance transaction consisting of over 150 fee and leasehold properties in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Prepared loan assignment documentation and successfully closed a $74MM Performing Multifamily Note Sale consisting of over 110 loans.
  • Closing large commercial loans in a multitude of states expanding title and survey review experience nuanced by different state requirements.
