As Director of Firm Operations, Ms. Connor manages many aspects of the firm’s operations.  She administers the firm’s conflicts check process.  She negotiates and transacts with outside vendors for a range of services from litigation support to legal research resources to malpractice insurance carriers.  Ms. Connor assists in the evaluation and recruitment of new attorneys and on boarding attorneys and staff who ultimately join the firm.  She works with our marketing collaborators to create materials tailored to the firm’s practice groups.  She is often the front line in solving issues big and small, of a growing dynamic group of lawyers and staff, including drafting audit letters for clients, securing deposition locations and support for upcoming trials, and assisting with client development efforts.

Ms. Connor has a diverse legal and policy background.  Prior to coming to PLG, Ms. Connor served as Senior Counsel to both the Chairman and a Commissioner of the Consumer Product Safety Commission providing policy advice, leading rulemaking efforts, drafting statements and talking points, and preparing for hearings, meetings and votes.  Ms. Connor has also represented Fortune 500 corporations, accounting firms, and individuals in securities fraud matters brought by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Department of Justice and class action plaintiffs.  Ms. Connor began her career as a general civil litigator working on all aspects of cases ranging from breach of contract to copyright infringement to anti-trust.
