Flexible Work Environment

Potomac Law enables attorneys to take more control of their legal career.  Our attorneys have the freedom and flexibility to work from any location that suits the attorney and his/her clients’ needs.  Most of our attorneys work from home offices or, occasionally, at client sites.  We believe that working remotely enables us to be more productive and efficient in balancing our professional and personal commitments.  In addition, we have rejected minimum billable requirements that can create an inherent conflict between a client’s needs and an attorney’s work-life balance.

Transparent Compensation

We compensate attorneys based on an objective and straightforward formula that avoids the tension and conflict created by opaque and discretionary compensation formulas embraced by traditional law firms.  Our innovative business model enables attorneys to retain a higher percentage of their billable revenue while charging clients significantly less than traditional law firms.  The firm provides the freedom and flexibility to bill at a rate determined by an attorney’s practice and his/her clients.

“Green” Environment

We strive to minimize our impact on the environment as much as possible through responsible practices.  By working primarily from home offices, our attorneys commute less, save on gasoline, and improve air quality.  We have greatly reduced our use of paper by utilizing secure digital file management wherever possible.
