Jessica Chod is a Partner in the firm’s Corporate Practice. Her practice focuses on general corporate and contract law matters, as well as corporate governance and best practices. She has experience working with clients of all sizes that operate around the globe and in various stages of the business life-cycle. A significant part of Ms. Chod's practice entails dispensing efficient and practical counsel to clients navigating everything from the day-to-day to more unique corporate issues. She leverages her corporate generalist experience from her time as a corporate counsel of a multi-national corporation, supporting multiple business units, as well as outside counsel experience, to provide clients with solutions to their legal needs.

Representative Experience

  • Provide strategic guidance and legal counsel as outside general counsel for clients
  • Counsel on general corporate matters, including contract drafting, creation of contract templates and negotiation of contracts
  • Provide day-to-day commercial contract review and negotiation in support of sales teams
  • Maintain and update negotiation playbooks
  • Support board affairs teams for preparation of board and committee meetings, as well as general day-to-day board affairs related work
  • Assist with the closing and implementation of complex corporate transactions, including the coordination and negotiation required for seeking consents and integration and post-integrated matters
